Our Bamboo Boards:
Our Bamboo boards are locally sourced and of the highest quality.
These chopping boards are vertical construction with the middle consisting of x3 cross lamination adding that extra strength and durability. It also makes splitting of boards highly unlikely.
Each chopping board has a special little saying engraved to add character and that personal touch.
These chopping boards are sealed with our own home-made food safe Natural Wood Butter, which assists in longevity and a beautiful rich colour.
Also pure leather straps are a special addition for easy usage.
Significance of Bamboo:
Sustainably harvested bamboo, renewable and environmentally friendly.
Is not as porous as other woods. Is moisture resistant and it is 3 times harder than Teak, Walnut, Oak, Beech and Ash.
Is easy on the knives.
Low maintenance – Easy to clean, easy to maintain. As with any solid wood or pre-finished product, maintenance is crucial to the longevity and appearance.
It is naturally anti-bacterial.
